Meet our Providers in Killeen:

Shanna Losoya

Shanna Losoya was born and raised in a small town in Michigan and left to seek adventure by joining the United States Navy. She proudly served her country for 6 years while living her dreams on the Eastern coast. After leaving the Navy, she came as quick as she could to the great state of Texas! Since being here she has returned to school, obtained her LVN diploma, followed by an ADN, BSN, and finally, her MSN from Walden University in 2024. After successfully passing her board certification exams, she was blessed with a position with Freedom Behavioral Health Services.

Shanna decided to pursue the psychiatric and mental health path due to the ongoing stigmas surrounding the field. She is passionate about learning more about the field and helping as many people as she can along the way. In addition to being a provider, she is a proud wife and mother of 2 boys, 2 bonus children, and one very playful pup, Raven! When she is not working or studying, she enjoys spending time with her children, reading, cooking, attempting to garden, and rooting on the Detroit Lions!

Tabitha Workman

Tabitha Workman was born in San Angelo, Texas and raised in a small town in Central Texas. Tabitha has spent many years working within the Central Texas region in the community and returned to school to complete her bachelor’s in business administration, master’s in social work and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Social Work focusing on mental health and suicide prevention. Tabitha is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is blessed to have the opportunity to continue to help her community through therapeutic relief.

In addition to being a therapist, Tabitha enjoys time spent with her spouse and 2 boys going to the lake, hiking, cooking, shopping and attending the many sports activities her children are involved in. Tabitha also has a great love for animals as she has several ranging from dogs to reptiles.

Dr. David Wichman

Dr. David Wichman was born and raised in Manhattan, Kansas and is proud to call it home. He graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Animal Science and Industry, then attended The University of Kansas School of Medicine for his medical education. He remained at KU Med for Residency, where he served as Chief Psychiatric Resident in his final year. Upon completion of residency, he returned to Manhattan to serve as Chief of Psychiatry for Ascension Via Christi hospital (2008-2018). He left the hospital to become Chief of Psychiatry at the Topeka VA Medical Center, and served in that role for 3 years before returning to Manhattan to practice in an outpatient setting at Katie’s Way. Dr. Wichman decided to team up with Dr. Aveekshit Tripathi, whom he practiced with for many years at Ascension Via Christi, to co-found and open Freedom Behavioral Health Solutions. Together, Dr. Wichman and Dr. Tripathi will utilize their medical experience and leadership to build a cutting edge mental health practice that serves the Manhattan area and surrounding communities.

Dr. Wichman will continue to be a national speaker for select psychiatric medications as well as being in high demand for medical educational lectures to psychiatric providers on dTMS, medication management (especially the newer generation antidepressants), and general continuing medical education lectures.

Dr. Wichman is married to his wife Jacque, and they have 4 VERY active children: Lauren, Ryan, Jackson, and Kingston. If you see Dr. Wichman at soccer, dance, track, or football games, say hi! In his free time, you will likely find him down at the lake with a line in the water trying to catch some walleye, crappie, catfish, bass or whatever is biting!

Proudly serving EVERYONE, including our Nation's heroes.
