Kaylynn Root, MA, LPC, LCDC

Kaylynn comes from a military combat family, having moved all across the country and even abroad. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with a specialty in Trauma treatment. She is also currently working on her PsyD, with a focus in trauma. She has worked with a wide array of populations.

 Beginning her career in the prisons and judicial systems, working with the court systems in probation and parole, then moving onto other populations, such as addiction/alcoholism, sexual trauma, high acuity, homeless population, residential and inpatient levels of care, military and first responders, military children. She has dedicated her life to assisting people who struggle with a multitude of traumas and experiences, and her passion to help others has only grown while being in this field.
