Mattie-Kay Razo

Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker

Mattie-Kay Razo is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) who has been supporting individuals and families since 2015. She brings warmth, compassion, and a steady presence to her work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating life’s challenges.

Mattie-Kay has experience across a variety of settings including foster care and adoption services, schools, hospice care, hospitals, outpatient mental health clinics, and perinatal/postpartum programs. These experiences have shaped her belief that mental health is deeply connected to life transitions, relationships, health, and the systems around us.

Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy techniques, helping clients gently explore patterns that may be holding them back while building practical tools for coping and growth. She is especially passionate about supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, major life transitions, and the emotional changes that can come with pregnancy and postpartum seasons.

Mattie-Kay believes the relationship between client and therapist is at the heart of meaningful change. She works to create a space that feels safe, non-judgmental, and encouraging; where clients can feel truly seen and supported.
