Deep TMS utilizes electromagnetic fields to safely and effectively regulate the neural activity of brain structures found to be related to the targeted mental health or neurological condition. As the treatment progresses, the relevant symptom’s conditions become less frequent and less severe, allowing the patient to experience and enjoy a better quality of life.
BrainsWay’s treatment platform is based on a unique breakthrough technology called Deep TMS, which can reach significant depth and breadth of the brain and produce broad stimulation and functional modulation of targeted brain areas.
Deep TMS treatment features unique, patented coils that are fitted into a helmet, which is secured snugly to the patient’s head during the treatment. BrainsWay’s therapy has been utilized in over 60 clinical trials worldwide.
Medication management in behavioral health refers to the process of overseeing and optimizing the use of medications to treat mental health conditions. It involves a collaborative approach between individuals receiving treatment, healthcare providers, and mental health professionals. The primary goals of medication management in behavioral health include:
Medication management is an integral part of comprehensive behavioral health care, often used in conjunction with other therapeutic interventions such as counseling or psychotherapy. It aims to support individuals in achieving improved mental health outcomes while minimizing the risks associated with medication use.
VR/AR Therapy in the behavioral health world uses virtual and augmented reality technologies to create therapeutic interventions. Individuals wear specialized headsets to immerse themselves in simulated environments or enhance their real-world surroundings with digital elements. This immersive experience is harnessed for therapeutic purposes, helping individuals address behavioral and emotional challenges.
In Virtual Reality therapy, clients can engage in exposure exercises, role-playing scenarios, or relaxation environments tailored to their specific needs. Augmented Reality therapy may involve overlaying digital cues or feedback onto the real world to assist individuals in navigating and managing behavioral situations.
These innovative approaches are applied in behavioral health settings for issues such as anxiety disorders, phobias, PTSD, and social skills training. VR/AR therapy offers a unique way to integrate technology into behavioral health interventions, providing a safe and controlled space for clients to work on and improve their mental health.
Marriage and family counseling is a specialized form of psychotherapy that focuses on helping couples and families navigate challenges and improve their relationships. This type of counseling addresses a wide range of issues, including communication difficulties, conflicts, parenting concerns, and emotional distress within the family unit.
The goal of marriage and family counseling is to provide a supportive and neutral environment where individuals and family members can openly discuss their thoughts and feelings. A trained therapist facilitates these conversations, helping to identify patterns of behavior, improve communication, and develop coping strategies.
Individual therapy for adolescents and adults is a confidential and supportive space where individuals work one-on-one with a trained therapist to address personal challenges and promote mental well-being.
For adolescents, therapy often focuses on navigating the complexities of adolescence, including identity development, peer relationships, academic stress, and family dynamics. Therapists help adolescents build coping skills, enhance self-esteem, and navigate the challenges of this transitional phase.
In adult therapy, individuals collaboratively explore and address a range of issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Therapists use evidence-based approaches to assist adults in gaining insights into their thoughts and behaviors, fostering personal growth, and developing effective coping mechanisms.
Both adolescent and adult therapy provide a non-judgmental space for self-exploration, where individuals can work towards achieving their mental health goals, improving overall well-being, and developing skills for a more fulfilling life.
Esketamine, marketed under the brand name Spravato, is a medication used to treat depression, specifically in individuals who have not responded well to other antidepressant treatments. Unlike traditional antidepressant pills, Esketamine is administered as a nasal spray.
The treatment process involves a person using the nasal spray under the supervision of a healthcare professional, usually in a healthcare setting. This is a new modality that has potential for rapid improvements in depression symptoms. These improvements coming within weeks rather than months.
